Using eBook readers to study for exams

Hey everyone it’s Chris Jordan here.

I let Matt have the day off because I wanted to share with you my latest experience with my eBook reader.

You see I am currently in the middle of my exams period, I am studying Business Administration. This Wednesday I have a really big test coming up in statistics and I thought to myself “Why not prepare for the test using my eBook reader ?”

So I downloaded all of the class summeries into my eReader and also some of the sample tests and started to study.

Of course I had to do this with an eBook reader that has PDF support since all of these documents are in PDF formats and contain many formulas and other unusual characters. So for this test I used Matt’s Kindle DX and I have to say….AMAZING!

Carrying my notes around is so much easier and I can study practically anywhere. The only problem is that there is no way to arrange the files into folders so sometimes I need to browse through a few pages until I get to the file I want.

So although there is still a long way to go before this device will be a 100% suitable for students I can honestly say, from my own perspective that it gives me a great advantage in studying for my exams and I highly recommend it.

Now I only need to find a way to make Matt forget he lended it to me.

Chris.
